Hallig Langeneß is easily accessed onboard our modern car ferry M/V "Hilligenlei I" departing from Schlüttsiel. Crossing time from Schlüttsiel to Langeneß amounts to about 90 minutes, including a stopover at Hallig Hooge.
Already at the ferry quay passengers will encounter a first attraction of Langeneß – the "Hallig Express". This funny "road train" (consisting of a Unimog tractor and several passenger coaches) takes you comfortably to the holm's other sights. These include the "Halligmuseum" (local museum) as well as the Church of Langeneß. Those guests who fancy to explore Hallig Langeneß in a more sporty way may rent a bike at "Warft Hilligenley" located 300 metres from the ferry quay. Alternatively, you may also choose a walk across Langeneß, either on the main road (despite its main road function it has extremely little traffic...) or along thestony coastline. Restaurants are situated at "Warft Hilligenley" and "Ketelswarf". Here you may taste local cuisine in a cosy, authentic ambience.
