Travelling onboard our ferries from Dagebüll-Mole, you benefit from smooth railway connections. Dagebüll Ferry Port (which boasts an own platform located next to the ferry terminal) has frequent daily train connections to Niebüll, a station located at the Westerland-Hamburg train route.

Passengers from Hamburg or further south may use the German Railway's daily InterCity / EuroCity train connections via Hamburg to Niebüll. IC/EC trains to Niebüll depart from numerous German cities, including Berlin, Dresden, Hanover, Frankfurt/Main, Cologne, Bonn, etc. During summer period, most of these IC/EC trains run destination coaches to Dagebüll-Mole which means that you do not have to transfer at Niebüll. If no direct coach is available, you may transfer to the local trains of neg Niebüll GmbH running between Niebüll and Dagebüll-Mole. Alternatively, passengers can also choose Regional Express Trains of Nord-Ostsee-Bahn running between Hamburg and Westerland. These trains likewise stop at Niebüll where passengers have to change to the local train between Niebüll and Dagebüll-Mole. Passengers arriving from Denmark should use the Tønder-Niebüll train route, and continue from Niebüll to Dagebüll-Mole by local train.

Tickets and reservations can also be obtained from the German Railway's ticket vending machines. These machines, which are available at all major stations, offer a multilingual operating tool.

Closest international airport is Hamburg (HAM). Passengers continuing their journey by train may use the Airport Express Bus service between the airport and Hamburg Central Station (duration of bus journey approximately 25 minutes, departures every 15 to 30 minutes). Notice that InterCity and EuroCity trains depart from both Hamburg Central and Hamburg-Dammtor Station. Nord-Ostsee-Bahn's Regional Express Trains, on the contrary, depart from Hamburg-Altona Station only. These trains do not stop at Hamburg Central and Hamburg-Dammtor Station!
