You prefer travelling to Föhr Island / Amrum Island without your own car? In this case you benefit from Inselparkplatz, the new secured long-term parking compound at Dagebüll. Inselparkplatz combines first-class service and favourable fares. We show you how to benefit from this new facility!

Access Proceed to the second roundabout located next to the car park. Use the left exit to the gateway of Inselparkplatz.

Proceed to the barrier At the gateway of Inselparkplatz you will find a barrier with chip vendor. Please proceed directly to the barrier - do not stop in the gateway area in order not to  obstruct access for other cars approaching the parking compound.

Chipcoin use You might most probably know a chipcoin from other car parks. Upon having reached the gateway barrier, press the chipoin vendor's dedicated button. Please make sure to keep the chipcoin safely.

Parking garage Inselparkplatz boasts a parking garage which may be used against payment of a surcharged. In case you prefer to have your car parked indoors, kindly proceed to the garage's gateway where you have to stop at a barrier. In order to open the barrier you have to chip in your chipcoin (which you have received at the gateway of Inselparkplatz). Having done so you will receive another chipcoin in exchange. It identifies you as user of the Inselparkplatz parking garage.

Pay upon your return Parking charges are paid upon the end of your holiday before you leave Inselparkplatz. For details please consult our tariff list (available in German language only).

Transfer bus service Wyker Dampfschiffs-Reederei and Inselparkplatz Ltd. are pleased to provide a complimentary transfer bus service between Inselparkplatz and Dagebüll Ferry Port. This continously running bus service takes you directly to the ferry - and back to Inselparkplatz once you have returned from Föhr or Amrum.

ParkCenter Before embarking the transfer bus to Dagebüll Ferry Port, kindly obtain a ticket  for your crossing to Föhr Island or Amrum Island. You may do so from our service counters and ticket vending machines in the ParkCenter (we regret that our vending machines do not yet offer a multilingual operating tool - kindly contact our staff if you require assistance). Apart from ticketing facilities, the ParkCenter boasts a range of other facilities - including a café, bistro, kiosk and restrooms.

Walking to the port Probably you prefer a short walk to the ferry port? No problem! Please walk in western direction towards the dike. Signs will direct you to the ferry berths. You may obtain your ticket for the crossing either in the ParkCenter or at the service centre of W.D.R. in port.
